Tout and Brique 7
This year, the 7th edition of “All About Bricks” took place at the Museum of Walloon Life in Liège during the weekend of February 28 to March 1. A different date this year, but just as much fun to exhibit in this beautiful setting and share our passion with a slightly different audience than our usual Brick Mania crowd. This year, the museum hosted an exhibition about the Rio Carnival. Visitors could admire dozens of costumes actually worn by a Belgian enthusiast in the Rio Sambadrome during the famous parade of samba schools… There is more to life than just a passion for LEGO 😉. We were also happy to exhibit in the old church, which offered a bit more space for everyone… It was also an opportunity to try out a new activity for visitors: in addition to the traditional building workshops and remote-controlled cars, we launched a “free mosaic” activity with 16×16 baseplates and 2×2 bricks… Every visitor could unleash their creativity at any time. Some examples can be seen. This new activity was a great success and will likely return in all future BeLUG events. In the evening, there was an opportunity to eat (the museum meal is always excellent) and play games together. We tested the members’ creativity with the new “mosaic” activity. Thanks to all participants and especially to Alex for the organization.
